We’ve been going cocktail mad with our extra time during lockdown. Fergus has been posting
regular recipes to our social media channels. Using as much of our home-grown herbs and easy to
find ingredients as we can.
One of our favourites is the Gin Garden Martini, it is light, refreshing and amazingly easy to drink!

50ml Apple juice
20ml Elderflower Cordial
2 lime wedges
4 Mint leaves
Equipment- Cocktail shaker, fine cocktail strainer, ice, sharp knife, cocktail glass and a wooden spoon.
To begin slice half an inch of cumber and peel the skin place in your cocktail shaker and crush using the back of a wooden spoon. Pour in your Gin, Apple Juice and Elderflower Cordial and add your mint leaves and grind in 2 twists of black pepper.
Fill your glass with plenty of ice, seal and shake vigorously. Strain the cocktail into a stemmed cocktail glass ensuring all cucumber pulp and ice is removed.
Finally garnish with thin cucumber slices or a thin ribbon of cucumber and Enjoy.
